The Rockton Chamber of Commerce is supportive of diversity in organizations of civic, community, and business. The mission is to strengthen our area’s existing business and to serve as a catalyst for new commerce and economic development. We will foster partnerships that build a qualified workforce linked to targeted industry, efficient infrastructure, and an environment that stimulates growth.
The goals of the Rockton Chamber of Commerce’s Government Relations plan, is to protect and strengthen small businesses. We will monitor local, state and federal legislation and stake out positions that support the rights of business owners against burdensome requirements that limit commerce.
The Chamber’s plans are to be a highly active participant on matters affecting businesses. The RCOC will also maintain an awareness on issues to our membership and the general public and work closely with the Village and other economic development organizations to encourage a viable, vibrant, and sustainable business community in and around Rockton, Illinois.
