These committees are always active and permanently in place to manage a specific portion of the Chamber. A “Standing Committee” is typically chaired by a member of the Board of Directors. The management of the Chamber relies heavily on these committees.
Marketing & Strategic Planning Committee
Responsible for reviewing and recommending adoption of short/long range plans and policies. This committee establishes and updates programs, policies, procedures and marketing campaigns on an annual basis.
Responsible for preparation and management of the annual elections. Must be made up of at least 3 members in good standing.
Responsible for general financial policy and supervision of all financial transactions. Co-Chaired by the Treasurer and VP, and consists of 2 board members and 1 member in good standing.
These committees are focused on the planning and execution of their respective events. This means that a Committee can expect to be very active for a select amount of months, but also have a break each year where no meetings are held. Event Committees are a great way to get involved, network, share your skills, and to have fun.
